I, Louis Emanuel Thelemaque, was blessed to be (literally) chosen by Demaris Bonifacia Lopez, who I named Dee, to be her husband 68 years ago after knowing her less than 3 months.

Although I had come to believe I would remain a bachelor for life, I had the intuitive and intelligent sense to recognize that here was a person I could count on for life and we married in about 1 month of her proposal.

As a bonus, she was a beautiful,  resourceful, supportive, encouraging, protective, and talented mother and wife. We had a 65 year love affair.
